This 4-hour experiential workshop will introduce
parents, teachers and therapists to developmentally
appropriate yoga and mindfulness activities to
support children and teens with focus,
concentration and self-regulation.
- Learn conscious breathing exercises
- Experience basic yoga poses & understand their benefits
- Increase your ability to move young people from flight or fight mode (sympathetic nervous system) to rest and digest mode (parasympathetic nervous system)
- Learn how to teach mindfulness and meditation through visualization and play
- Realize the importance of relaxing, balancing and supporting our own mind-body state to become more effective parents, teachers and therapists
